Advance is currently looking for an Interim Director of Resources, reporting to the CEO, to work as a member of the senior leadership team, helping to implement the organisation’s Corporate Business Plan and growth strategy. We provide specialist housing and support services to vulnerable adults with mental health issues and learning disabilities, who we place at the heart of everything we do.

This is a strategic role with overall responsibility for providing professional leadership on all aspects of the financial management and ICT services for the organisation. We want to hear from you if you:

  • are a qualified accountant with registration with a recognised accountancy body, together with evidence of continuing professional development.
  • have evidence of achievement in delivering effective financial strategies, including significant revenue and capital budgets
  • are able to demonstrate experience of successful engagement in corporate management and participation in the formulation of corporate objectives, policies and strategies, including business planning
  • have a proven track record of experience within a complex and dispersed organisation
  • have highly developed communication, presentational and interpersonal skills
  • have a good standard of personal ICT skills, in particular Microsoft office but also the ability to manage wider ICT systems

This is an interim position, initially, for 6-8 months
