Head of Finance

Fast growing PE backed staffing provider have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Finance Professional to join one of their key brands in Essex.  Reporting to the MD, you will be the Head of Finance holding responsibility for the division’s financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take full responsibility for the finance team; covering payroll, billing, credit control and management information

- Provide financial support to the divisional MD, in particular, by producing appropriate management information for decision making

- Review financial and operational processes to ensure they align effectively, focusing on improving cash collections

- Review operational policies and procedures to ensure they fit with the business but give appropriate financial control

- Reveiew current financial and KPI reporting to ensure it adheres to the group’s requirements and deadlines

Candidate profile:

- Accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)   

- Experience of managing a team

- Strong interpersonal skills to bring together operational requirements and financial rigour

- Excellent business process skills

- Leadership skills and gravitas
