An industry leading International services group are recruiting for a Business Operations Accountant to join their friendly but hardworking team based in Bracknell.
A graduate who is a native/ fluent French speaker is required for this challenging role within the Finance team, to be accountable for the following:
Account Management and Relationship Building
- Accountable for managing and quality checking all transactions posted to assigned sales ledger.
- Develop strong customer relationships to ensure positive cash flow by ensuring proper documentation (purchase orders, etc.) to facilitate accurate and timely billing.
- Provide excellent customer service through resolving queries where necessary. This includes working closely with the sales team and providing support when required (specifically for awareness around credit checks and billing processes).
- Participate in regular ledger reviews and resolution of issues arising within agreed timescales.
Process and System Understanding
- Produce client invoices and ensure timely delivery thereof.
- Setup and maintenance of customer accounts.
- Reconcile assigned customer accounts; examples include purchase order customer spend versus cash collections, self-billing accounts billed versus contractor timesheets.
- Ensure signed customer terms and conditions are in place before trading.
- Produce credit notes and invoice requisition forms in line with predefined processes.
- Prepare journals where necessary.
Deliver High Quality Communication
- Collect cash from customers in line with customer contractual terms and company processes.
- Meet monthly cash collection target .
- Ensure timely resolution of unapplied cash receipts.
- Provide accurate and timely data for client and internal reports.
The successful candidate will be a native French speaker and must be fluent in both French and English, both written and oral. You will be a graduate who has subsequently gained some relevant experience within finance and who can provide outstanding customer service to enable future sales by maintaining key business relationships through good communication.
This role has a great deal of exposure to both external and internal stakeholders and therefore strong inter personal skills are key as is a high degree of accuracy and consistent quality of work delivered. An analytical, versatile approach is required and candidates will benefit from working in a supportive environment where team work is essential and opportunities for progression are strong.
