A large Investment Manager based outside central London is looking for a fund accountant on an interim basis for 6 months whilst they look to increase their Fund accounting team.
The successful individual will be responsible for the preparation of annual and interim financial statements for a wide range of funds within the different legal status such as OEICS, unit trusts, and unauthorised unit trusts. You will work within a team with other fund accountants and will have responsibility for specific funds.
Key responsibilities
- Preparation of interim and annual financial statements for a range of OEICs and Unit Trust funds
- Liaison with the auditors
- Preparation of revenue forecasts and yields
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns, NSO returns, CT61 returns
Qualifications and experience
- Previous statutory reporting experience in the financial services industry
- Good understanding of the IMA SORP
- Part qualified accountant or qualified by experience
- Knowledge of the InvestOne Enterprise system is desirable
