Accountant

Pro Global Insurance are currently recruiting for a qualified or part-qualified Accountant within the Finance team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the end to end process of managing a small handful of our clients’ accounts and building firm business relationships with the company.

Preparing and reviewing monthly and quarterly financial reports for management as well

as ad hoc financial analysis and documents as requested

Pro’s Finance Department consists of a global team of finance professionals that provide financial reporting, management and control across all of Pro’s entities and locations.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Recognised part-qualified professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACA.ACCA)

• Insurance accounting experience and knowledge of FCA/PRA regulations

• Advanced user of MS Office Suite

• Preparation of statutory financial statements, regulatory return and management accounts

• Cash management and control and working with multiple currencies

• Implementation and monitoring of procedures, systems and controls eg Implementing new trial balance

• Ability to explain financial information to non-financial management

• Experience of using MS Dynamics (Great Plains) general ledger system

• Service sector experience and dealing with internal and external clients

• Previous supervisory experience
