Finance Business Partner

Our client is a leading national charity that has just undergone an exciting period of change within their overall business including the finance function. They are recruiting for a bright and enthusiastic Finance Business Partner.

The organisation which is charitable by nature, is very commercially ran and has an impressive growth plan through acquisitions and various other financial investments. This position reports into the Head of Management Accounts, who themselves are relatively new to the organisation and they will give you the guidance, support and training needed to become a fully-fledged Finance Business partner for a large, complex organisation.

The Finance Business partner is very much a business facing role. Responsibilities will include build rapport and challenge a range of senior staff; work closely with senior managers to assist in strategic decision making; produce annual budgets and forecasts; assist in various projects, such as financial modelling for new business; review margins and profitability of services and provide a strong costing and pricing service to support managers in contract negotiations with funders and suppliers.

The experience gained in this role cannot be overstated and will suit someone who is looking to develop their career in a growing, commercially focused organisation. You will be a qualified accountant who is currently working for a large, complex company in either commercial or not for profit sector. You will have exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport in a warm and engaging, approachable but challenging manner.
