A unique opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analyst for a well established and successful business in the Leicestershire area. The Finance Analyst will be reporting into the Commercial Finance Manager and will play an important part in the success of the team moving forwards.

Your responsibilities will include:
Monthly analysis of cost centre spends
Accruals, prepayments and reallocation of costs between areas a necessary
Completing monthly forecasting and seasonal budgets
Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating any queries raised during the month
Co-ordinating the brand summary of cost savings and ensure costs are accurately forecasted and budgeted and correctly apportioned to the right department
Producing timely management information to enable cost control
Preparing and discussing a detailed commentary schedule for monthly meetings, highlighting key issues and areas of potential saving or overspend
Liaising with senior managers to ensure we have sufficient information and insights to support the monthly meeting of Directors held to manage the costs (savings & increases) of the business by operational area
Being able to prepare, review and deliver ad-hoc information requests to key stakeholders for a variety of business needs; often at short notice.
The ideal candidate will:
Be CIMA/ACCA/ACA Part Qualified and actively studying
Have experience in a similar role with aspirations to progress their career you must have the ability to analyse and interpret information
Possess strong systems skills including being an intermediate user of Excel
Show solid progression on their CV with no unexplainable gaps; you need to be and ambitious and have demonstrated this throughout your career
Have excellent interpersonal skills in order to be able to communicate with other areas of the business at all levels, and be able to prioritise and organise their own workload
Possess experience in a fast-paced organisation a Retail/FMCG/Manufacturing background would be advantageous
