Accounts Assistant

Our client based in Hertfordshire are seeking an ambitious Assistant Accountant AAT qualified/ part qualified CIMA or ACCA to join it's experienced team. The Accounts Assistant is primarily responsible for preparing and issuing 'Service Charge Accounts' to property owners.

Duties include:

• Preparing and issuing Service Charge Accounts
• Maintaining nominal ledgers
• Adjusting year end accounts and applying accruals and prepayments
• Liaising with Auditors to resolve any queries, providing reports and supporting documentation
• Coordinating any external approval required for Service Charge Accounts
• Financial reporting for clients/property owners and VAT reporting

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience within an accountancy based environment and have a general understanding of GAAP, debits and credits.
