Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

£60,000 - 65,000 p/a + benefits

During 2014, the BHF launched a new strategy, setting out our mission, vision and priorities to 2020, which builds on the BHF’s position as the UK’s leading independent funder of cardiovascular research and sets ourselves the strategic goal of becoming a World Class Organisation.


In the last year the BHF implemented a new finance accounting and reporting system (Sun 6 based ledgers, with an Infor BI reporting suite). Working closely with the Finance Business Partners and Finance Analysts, you will work to develop a complementary budgeting and planning system for the year ahead, alongside a thorough review of the planning and reporting processes and the further development of the BI reporting suite across the organisation.  Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the role manages a team of four accountants, coordinating all financial planning and reporting activities for the BHF. 
 

You will be CCAB or CIMA qualified accountant with extensive knowledge and experience of management accounting and reporting, you will have excellent financial modelling skills to implement new change across the business working closely with key contacts to implement new systems. 

This is a 12 month fixed term contract with a possible review to become permanent in 2016.
