Head of Commercial Finance

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer you will be responsible for driving forward the financial performance of the organisation by working closely with people right across the business

Role

• Working closely with the distinct areas of the organisations interests you will need to quickly understand the key drivers and levers that impact performance
• Build effective relationships across the organisation to enable effective business partnering
• Using your business knowledge and communication skills to effectively challenge and influence key stakeholders to enable best in class decision support and business delivery
• Deliver insightful, accurate and timely business and financial analysis
• Support the CFO and Board in a wide range of business / financial activity

Candidate Profile

• Highly commercial, senior finance background
• Proven track record of driving forward business performance
• First class communication and influencing skills
• Able to build highly effective working relationship across a wide range of business functions
• First class academics, qualified accountant (MBA useful)
• Scientific, healthcare, bio-tech or pharmaceutical sector background is highly desirable
• Proven track record of successfully leading a team through change
