Description
Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant will be integral in the year end process.
Financial Accountant Key Responsibilities:
- Take active lead in year end accounts
- All year end activities
- Take ownership of financial accounting and reporting for all legal entities.
- Sign off the general ledger.
- Present management information to a variety of stakeholders.
- Complex reconciliations
- Take the lead on process improvement within the finance function.
- Take on ad hoc project work.
- Experience of SORP
Profile
Financial Accountant Ideal Candidate:
- Part Qualified Accountant.
- Good Excel skills.
- Local Government experience
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
Job Offer
£30,000 to £32,000 plus competitive package
