Our client is a leading international property/hospitality group with operations worldwide. Due to recent expansion an opportunity has arisen for internal auditor to join the European team. You must speak French or German
Duties
- To perform detailed planning for internal audit assignment
- To prepare and execute test programmes and manage the performance of assignments
- To prepare work papers and internal audit reports to support findings/conclusions and make recommendations for improvement
- Discuss findings with management
- To follow up on management actions arising from audit reports as required, and assist with the preparation of status reports
- To ensure the internal audit repository is maintained and updated in a timely manner
- To contribute to the development of the Internal Audit function and process through continuous enhancement of audit techniques and programs
- To contribute in advisory assignments to assist management in areas of concerns
- Mobile travel around UK and Europe Properties (France / Germany)
Profile:
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification e.g. ACCA
- CA / CPA would be an advantage
- Minimum of 3 years experience in financial and operational audits
- Background in hospitality (desirable)
- Advanced MS Excel/ ACL
- Preferably knowledge of Oracle / SUN / accounting Software
- Knowledge of property management systems such as Protel
- Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations
