The Opportunity

Our Group Head of Reporting is a pivotal role that is responsible for producing timely and relevant financial reporting to our board, shareholders and lenders as well as providing technical accounting support and balance sheet and cash flow analysis to the business.

Specific Responsibilities

Reporting to our Director of Finance and working closely with our Iglo Group CFO you will lead a team of 3 direct reports to deliver the following:

External Reporting and Technical Accounting 

  • Manage day-to-day relationship with external auditors 
  • Complete the Annual Report and other external reporting 
  • Prepare Group financial statements under IFRS 
  • Identify and resolve technical accounting issues, including annual review 
  • Maintain accounting policies 
  • Act as the key point of contact for financial accounting issues for the Group Finance Function 

Monthly Management Reporting 

  • Review and support preparation of monthly Group consolidated balance sheet 
  • Focus on working capital and take ownership of this reporting 
  • Monitor reported non-recurring spend to ensure it complies with Group accounting policies 
  • Produce balance sheet and cash flow for annual budget, quarterly forecasts and strategic plan purposes 

Ad Hoc Projects 
In the past, this has included involvement in various M&A and financing related projects, including the integration of a new acquisition (embedding financial reporting procedures, acquisition accounting) 

Qualifications and Experience required: 

  • Detailed and comprehensive knowledge of IFRS & US GAAP 
  • Experience of US/UK listing requirements. 
  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified 
  • A proven track record working within a reporting environment 
  • Experience of Group Consolidations
