Group Reporting Accountant

This role will involve significant interaction with the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, with routine exposure to the Group CFO and CEO.

The Group finance function is a dynamic and highly respected team, filled with high-calibre individuals who aide in the commercial growth of the business. They work closely with finance and business leaders across multiple divisions, driving the commercial agenda and acting as a key business advisor, providing insightful partnering across the business.

As part of this team, your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing commentary for monthly PLC meetings and the Group CFO
• Explaining complex financial information obtained from the wider finance team to multiple stakeholders
• Taking full ownership for both internal and external reporting for the Group's entities
• Leading the monthly consolidated management accounting process
• Driving through best practice for the reporting systems

You will be a qualified accountant, working in the profession or within an international blue-chip organization. Significant knowledge of technical accounting and the latest accounting standards is essential. It is vital that you have the intellect to both understand technical accounting and also possess the gravitas and confidence to explain complex financial information to senior business leaders.
