Intercompany Accountant

Gleeson Accountancy Recruitment are delighted to be working with a highly regarded global business, to recruit a Intercompany Accountant due to expansion of the department..

This role sits within the Group Finance Department which provides financial accounting, reporting and planning services, treasury and financial systems, processes and control structure to support global operations.

The Intercompany Accountant, reporting to the Financial Controller, ensures robust procedures are in place to control intercompany processes and that intercompany accounting is up to date and accurate.

Duties:

• Maintenance of intercompany procedures and controls

• Devising financial measures to track compliance and detect data discrepancies or delays in intercompany accounting

• Key business user of SAP integrated projects, grants and financial system, the SAP BPC consolidation and reporting system and the Dynamics general ledger system

• Maintaining Central intercompany accounting, taking a proactive approach to managing the wide range of intercompany transactions including reconciling the the intercompany balances

Profile:

• Part qualified accountant progressing to qualification

• Knowledge of intercompany accounting

• Experience of financial accounting controls

• Experience using SAP BPC consolidation and reporting system and Dynamics general ledger system

• Experience of financial accounting in an international organization / multi currency environment
