Key Duties
- Review of quarterly finance packs prepared external service providers
- Assistance with the preparation of annual and interim consolidated financial statement under IFRS and statutory accounts under Lux GAAP
- Complete financial responsibility of assigned holding property companies, including accounting and tax compliance, managing audit closings and approval of financial statements, debt covenant compliance and company cash flow requirements
- Fund cash flow planning, including calculation of distributions, repatriation of income through the fund structure and calculating and performing capital calls from investors
- Provision of financial information to internal and external clients, including applicable regulatory (CSSF, AIFMD reporting) and assistance in preparing quarterly fund board and investor reporting
- Management of overall fund debt reporting, internally and externally, including maintenance of the property Treasury database
- To develop and maintain strong relationships with the Fund's Depositary, Transfer and Paying Agent, external service providers and business partners to ensure timely delivery of financial and tax information
- Review of all fund processes and procedures and to recommend and implement improvements. Documentation of policies and procedures as required, management of internal audit, risk and compliance reviews
- Ad-hoc projects for both the Fund and wider business from time to time
Key Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong academic record
- IFRS and its application to real estate funds.
- Joint venture accounting and accounting for associates essential
- Lux GAAP statutory reporting
- General knowledge of European tax principles and fund structuring techniques, including VAT and transfer pricing is highly desirable
- Strong IT systems skills, including MRI (or similar) and Excel
