Our client, a leading Arts venue in Central London is looking for a Management Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting to the Financial Analysis & Planning Manager, you will be engaging with budget holders and providing key financial support and analysis to the business.
Key duties will include:
- Prepare periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries;
- Provide a support service by working with all departments and the management team to help make financial decisions;
- Analysis of financial performance and contributing to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts;
- Advising on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions;
- Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers;
- Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed
The successful candidate will be:
- A Qualified accountant. ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Possess excellent interpersonal skill and the ability to build effective working relationships with Internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment and to strict process deadlines.
- Strong planning and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate financial issues with non-finance professionals.
- A strong team player
