The Lowry is an internationally acclaimed cultural landmark situated at the heart of MediaCityUK, one of the world’s most exciting culture and media destinations.
We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to prepare key financial data for managers including monthly management reports for specific cost centres and manage balance sheet reconciliations. You will be responsible for liaising with departmental managers to ensure correct accounting and reporting of all financial activities and on occasion be required to liaise with external auditors.
The ideal candidate will be part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent), possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and be able to prioritise own workload to meet monthly accounting deadlines. Strong Excel skills and effective communication at all levels are desirable.
