As Finance Manager you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, preparation of the monthly management accounts, preparation of annual reports and accounts and managing a small team.

Description
Key responsibilities will include:
- Working with budget holders to monitor budgets and lead the forecasting process
- Providing monthly financial information for the Directors
- Preparing financial returns
- Providing reports and analysis to budget holders and project managers
- Preparing statutory financial statements
- Preparing the quarterly VAT returns
- Overseeing the payroll function
- Ensuring that all bookkeeping controls are in place
- Managing the finance team
This is a great opportunity to really take ownership of the finances within the charity and be an intergral member of the Senior team.
Profile
- Qualified or Qualified by Experience
- Previous experience in a finance manager role is essential, along with experience of managing a small team
- Experience of working within a charity would be useful although not essential
You should be able to start this role at short notice. It is initially for 6 months but there could be a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
Job Offer
Up to £45,000 dependent on experience
