Management Accountant

Robertson Bell finance have a truly fantastic opportunity. Our client, a leading central London based Not for Profit organisation with a turnover in excess of £150m are looking to recruit a bright and enthusiastic part qualified Management Accountant to join there friendly, but results focused team.

The Management Accountant is very much a finance business partnering role and will involve liaising with budget holders on a regular basis and overseeing cost centre accounts.

Working as the Management Accountant you will be responsible for assisting the Group Financial Controller in the preparation of budgets and monthly management accounts. You will ensure all income and expenditure is recorded correctly in the accounts and in line with the approved budget and take the lead in the majority of month end work. Working closely with budget holders this role will give you some exposure to finance business partnering as well as hand on accounting skills and analysis work.

The successful candidate will be studying towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) and will have the ability to communicate effectively and influence, educate and train budget holders, also the way you communicate finance to non-finance is key.
