The Team

You will be part of a team whose primary role is provide an objective evaluation of the operational, financial and informational control systems that management has established. Our services contribute to the Company's risk management process and act as a catalyst for change.

Role & Responsibilities

In your role you will consistently demonstrate knowledge and experience of: business processes (Q2C, P2P, R2R, I2R, etc.), COSO, US GAAP, accounting and auditing principles.

  • Demonstrate the ability to document processes, business risks, identify controls, assess the business impact of audit issues; draft pragmatic, timely action items; clear draft audit issues with business owners.
  • Consistently demonstrate the ability to execute controls testing and perform data analytics to support assessments.
  • Demonstrate understanding of organizational tools and related software applications.
  • Proactively foster working relationships with members of other teams within Cisco (e.g. Sales; HR; GBS; Finance).
  • Actively participate as a team member on audits and global initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS degree (or equivalent)
  • 4-6 years of relevant external and /or internal audit experience
  • Actively pursuing a relevant professional certification (CIMA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, CFE, etc.)
  • Exhibits solid communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of internal controls and audit methodologies, frameworks and standards.
  • Strong work ethic with high level of personal integrity.
  • Team player who works well in a collaborative environment and under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to engage with business owners, to discuss and find agreement on audit issues.

Desired Skills

  • One or more of the following: Certified Public Accountant; Certified Internal Auditor; Certified Fraud Examiner; Master of Business Administration ; Six Sigma
  • Demonstrate knowledge of data modeling and / or data analysis using Oracle or Business Objects desired.
  • One or more European language(s) preferred
  • Russian language preferred
