Projet Accountant

Hays are recruiting for a Project Accountant on behalf of an international charity based in Central London. The role, reporting into the Head of Finance will be responsible for the financial management of one of the organisations largest programmes as well as supporting some of the organisations general finance function. The role is a crucial and varied position within the finance team and responsibilities range from reviewing applications and reports, meeting with a wide variety of stakeholders, supporting implementing partners, reporting to management committees, and managing multicurrency cash flows as the organisation works towards hitting a $100 million investment target.

To succeed in this role you will be a part or fully qualified accountant who wants to work in international development organisation. You will have previous experience in project accounting and will have worked in an international environment. You will have excellent communication skills and will be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels.

This role may require international travel a couple of times a year. In return, you will be working on high profile projects and will be led by a supportive manager. This role will suit someone that has an interest in international development.
