Robertson Bell are recruiting for a £200m turnover Property and Development Group based in central London. Due to an internal promotion an exciting opportunity has arisen for a bright and enthusiastic Senior Management Accountant to join a friendly, but results focused team.
The Senior Management Accountant is very much a forward looking finance role and will work in partnership with Senior Management, Functional Heads and Directors to deliver the strategy and requisite savings required. Main responsibilities will include;
*Work closely with budget holders to understand their business units, risks and future outcomes.
*Provide management information and business guidance to assist budget holder's decision making processes
*Present complex financial and non-financial information to budget holders
*Monitor financial performance against budget and performance against long term strategic objectives.
*In addition, you will chair monthly business partner meetings; prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
The successful candidate will be an analytical, intelligent, qualified accountant who is confident with the budgeting process and able to confidently articulate and understand the wider business. How you communicate finance to a non-finance audience is key, as is having the ability to build rapport in a warm and engaging, approachable but challenging manner. Individuals from all sectors are highly welcomed.
