Senior Financial Accountant

A Senior Financial Accountant role has become available in a not-for-profit business at the top of their field. With a turnover of £34mil, this organisation is currently undergoing a transformation programme to redesign services to prepare for future growth and this role will be integral in supporting the Senior Management Team in this.

In addition to statutory accounting and year-end reporting this role will also lead on the FRS 102 conversion for the next year-end in 2016, will be managing a transactional team of 2 across AP and AR, and will be supporting the business through a continuous improvement programme to re-design systems, processes and controls.

Working closely with the Finance Business Partnering team the Senior Financial Accountant will also be responsible for supporting the annual business plan and will be working closely with them to develop the cashflow forecasting and month-end reporting processes.

This role will also have exposure across the business so we are looking for someone who is confident liaising with non-finance staff up to Senior Management Team level and who enjoys a varied role as you will be frequently asked to support business-wide projects.
