Junior Finance Assistant 

£21,000-£25,000

Tateossian, a global wholesaler and retailer for luxury goods , has an immediate  vacancy for a professional, accurate Junior Finance Assistant to join their very busy  Finance Team in their head office in Chelsea, London.

The ideal candidate for this role will be working towards their AAT Level 3, has sound experience from a similar, varied role in a small accounts office and can demonstrate excellence in accuracy and efficient processing of work.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Reconciling customer accounts  including purchase ledger statements to suppliers on weekly basis
  • Reconciling supplier accounts/agreeing Daily banking in GBP, EUR,USD &JPY for all companies
  • Resolving customer queries through effective communication, written and oral
  • Processing payments in bespoke banking system, via credit cards or cheques
  • Coding and processing purchase ledger invoices, credit notes
  • Accurately updating and maintaining the sales ledger
  • Processing refunds in bespoke banking system
  • Processing all customer receipts
  • Reconciling all company bank accounts
  • Effectively communicating with retail stores to resolve ad-hoc issues and monitor and process the expenses from all London boutiques
  • Communicating effectively with all other departments to meet deadlines
  • Ad-hoc admin tasks such as photocopying, filing etc

Essential skills

  • Very good understanding of accounting principles and best practice
  • Completed or studying towards AAT Level 3 or similar qualification

  • Excellent numeracy skills and accurate data entry
  • Understanding and clear communication with different cultures
