Part Time Credit Controller

Sheridan Maine is recruiting for a (Part Time) Credit controller to join a Fast growing SME sized business in the logistics and distribution sector close to the Worcester area.

Our Client

Our client is growing quickly into a market leader and is experiencing rapid growth due to success. And has created a new part time position based around 20 hours.

The Role

As the Credit Controller your duties will be to provide timely cash collection and general end to end Credit Control.

Duties and Responsibilities

Managing multiple account managers
Dealing with aged debt
Reconciliations of accounts
Liaising with other members of the finance and accounts teams
Some ad hoc tasks within the finance department.
Flexibility to work 4 / 5 days a week to the sum of 20 hours.

Person specification

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate Determination to go above and beyond with a passion for debt reduction.
Requirements include;

Making proactive telephone calls to clients and account managers to resolve queries in a timely manner.(Essential)
Ability to prioritize, filter and sort data on an aged debt report using Microsoft Excel. (Essential)
Have excellent communication skills both verbally and written (Essential)
Have a strong systems background.
Providing statements and copy invoices via email.
