An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a FTSE listed media business. My Client is looking for technically strong Management Experience with Marketing Services experience to join their growing team. Reporting to the FC, the purpose of this role is to provide management packs with accurate and timely information in highlighting business performance.
Your duties will include:
• Assist senior management with the month-end process as delegated
• Supporting the team with the completion of the monthly P&L including detailed analysis and commentary of key income and cost lines.
• Balance sheet reporting including accounts reconciliation and commentary
• Assisting senior management with the budgeting and forecasting
• Supporting Intercompany Accountant ensuring all aspects of inter-co debtor, creditor and WIP is actively managed and all aspects of reporting are completed in a timely manner
• Revenue reporting in accordance with the company's Revenue Recognition policy
You will need to have the following skills and experience:
• Qualified accountant with at least 1 year post qualified experience
• Recent experience working within Marketing Services is highly desired
• Sound knowledge of Excel - intermediate to advanced level
• Previous experience using SAP - ideal
• High degree of accuracy and a strong eye for detail
