Finance Manager

Robertson Bell Finance are recruiting for a Finance Manager to work for a national children's charity. This organisation is looking for a Finance Manager to work closely with the Director of Finance and Resources to lead a team of three to help support the overall goals of the organisation. The Finance Manager is instrumental in the success and leadership if the finance department. Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee the production of management accounts including annual forecast and ad hoc analysis.
• Be an active business partner in assisting the Director of Finance and Resources in liaising with budget holders.
• Lead on coordinating the production of statutory accounts and year end processes.
• Monitor and deliver on the financial accounting functions such as balance sheet reconciliations and cash forecasts.
• Supervise the monthly payroll and liaise with HMRC.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified CCAB accountant with experience in managing a team. You will have experience of effective business partnering, management accounts and producing group financial accounts and will be highly analytical. Experience of working within a charity with charity SORP and payroll experience is essential.
