Our client is a well-known International Development Charity based in the heart of London. They are a dynamic and well-established name who have grown rapidly and are continuing their reach across different international regions.

This role is pivotal in developing the international relationships for a particular region and will involve speaking to country managers and non-finance persons to train and develop their Finance skills.

Responsibilities include:
1.To assist Project Managers in the project budgeting process, identifying project start-up issues and financial reporting requirements for new projects, and building these into the Finance and Project implementation timetable.
2.To support on a regular basis with finance and management staff in the field.
3.To be the focal point for the gathering of overseas office monthly financial returns and the production of monthly project reconciliations.
4.Ensure all financial data is correctly recorded on the Finance system, and be the first point of contact for support on dimensions.
5.To identify and resolve any financial issues with the Country Directors, Project Managers and/or Project Directors. To pro-actively suggest new ways of working and solutions to problems where appropriate, including providing any relevant finance training for Country office staff including compliance areas.
6.To act as the first point of contact for project finance issues for all of the projects in a particular region/team.

To be successful in this role you MUST be FULLY qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) and ideally have experience working in the International Development space. You must be motivated, ambitious and diligent, and have experience working on Management Accounts, Budgets, Forecasts etc. Ideally you will also be immediately available.
