Now’s your opportunity to play your part in helping us achieve our ambitious goals as you deliver high-quality financial management and business planning for Children’s Services within our South East and Anglia region.

Leading, developing and inspiring your team to provide an exceptional service, you’ll oversee all of the region’s financial resources, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and risk management. Beyond that, you will play a key role in the delivery of the UK children’s Services business plan – by shaping organisational priorities for example, as well as developing business improvement strategies.

With ACA, ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent professional qualification, you should bring sound experience of leading financial teams, ideally gained in a large and complex organisation. A good working knowledge of financial systems (Oracle D for example) is also important, as well as an understanding of financial and business modelling. In addition, we’ll be looking for first-rate communication and influencing skills, plus the ability to build excellent working relationships with senior colleagues and external stakeholders up to director level.
