Commercial Finance Analyst

BTG Recruitment is working alongside a well-known not for profit organisation in their search for a Commercial Finance Analyst. You will be based in their head office in central Manchester.

The main remit of your job will be to act as the primary financial interface with Regional Managers and Operations Managers, you will be reviewing and challenge the budget, forecast and interpretation of variances in actual performance.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Commercial Analyst to demonstrate and develop their working skills within a market leading company.

Main Duties:

• Ongoing analysis and interpretation of financial data to identify key trends and areas for future exploitation. Escalation and communication of key findings.
• First point of contact for providing ad-hoc guidance regarding financial issues
• KPI variances, exceptions, trends etc.
• actual income and expenditure performance and variance analysis
• Sector risk analysis
• accruals and prepayments
• Budgets and Forecasts
• 2 direct reports - Commercial Finance Assistants

You should:

• Have experience of working within a similar commercially focused analysis role
• Be highly analytical with a strong level of attention to detail
• Either be part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA)
