A leading consumer rights charity is seeking a skilled charity finance Bookkeeper/Finance Officer with strong expertise in the SUN Systems accounting package for a permanent role. The role will involve supporting the Finance Director with the management accounts, financial controls and reporting and running the ledgers.
Duties:
-Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
-Running the purchase and sales ledgers
-Outsourced monthly payroll
-Assist with year-end accounting and audit prep
-Preparing monthly management accounts and variance analysis for the Finance Director
-Continue the upgrade of the SUN accounting systems from v4
-Multi-currency transactions and engaging with donors/funders and members
Requirements:
-Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
-Knowledge of charity SORP
-Experience preparing Management Accounts to TB
-Experience is budgets and donor/funder reporting
-Experience running purchase and sales ledgers with a high volume of transactions
-It is essential that applicants have advanced skills with the SUN Systems accounting package and software.
