Business Analyst

Our NHS client in Bristol has an immediate requirement for an experienced Business Analyst for a three to five month assignment.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining the 18 month rolling forecast and 3 year planning models

• Ensuring that datasets required for the production of the 3 year plan are uploaded accurately within the organisation’s financial planning system

• Maintaining a detailed schedule of “normalising adjustments” to ensure the underlying trend analysis and year on year comparison can be clearly reported

• Reviewing accounting accruals and adjustments input by the Management Accounting team and prepare any journals to finalise the financial position for review by the Management Accounting team

• Undertaking a comprehensive analytical review of monthly financial reports to ensure the veracity of information and highlighting key issues to the Business Partners

• Working closely with the Information team to maintain and develop a suite of business intelligence applications to support the directorate in detailed analysis and discovery of business issues

Key requirements

• Qualified Accountant
• Finance experience within the NHS or other public sector organization
• Conversant in Excel
• Good Stakeholder focus

Please note that the hourly rate is based on working through an Umbrella or Ltd Co.

Suitable candidates must be immediately available or on a notice period of no longer than a week.
