Elevation Recruitment Group are currently looking to recruit a results-driven and operationally astute Finance Business Partner for a leading multinational PLC based near Worksop.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the primary purpose of the role will be to support the Operations Director and their Management Team, playing a key part in driving financial and operational performance.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Supporting Operational Management to maximise value by identifying opportunities and risks and providing financial analysis for commercial initiatives
* Supporting Operational Management to produce budgets and forecasts by providing necessary review and appropriate challenge based on performance and commercial insight
* Ensuring month-end accounts are accurate and timely for assigned business units and support Business Managers in understanding of actual performance against budget / forecast
* Ensuring that all the correct financial controls are in place and support all audit activities
* Financial modelling of potentially complex financial income streams and project proposals
* Supporting Operational Management to produce business cases by ensuring the cases are commercially viable, contain strong rationale and robust financials
* Producing analysis to help non-financial colleagues understand cost drivers, areas for efficiency savings and potential improvements to income in order to drive improvements to the financial health of the division
* Developing and maintaining timely KPI reports to assist with management of the business
* Playing an integral part in the annual budget setting process and reforecasting process
* Identifying cost saving opportunities
* Preparing action plans in conjunction with Senior Management to resolve and improve financially underperforming business segments
* Undertaking any ad-hoc financial and business tasks as required
The successful candidate will require the following:
* CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification
* Ability to manage relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders
* Ability to communicate effectively to non-financial members of staff at a senior level
* Proven track record of commercial, operational and strategic delivery from a financial perspective in a challenging, fast-paced working environment
