Senior Finance Assistant

Leeds, West Yorkshire

Our client are a forward thinking, Marketing Agency and are now looking for a Senior Finance Assistant to drive effectiveness through commercial, accurate and timely production of all company information.

The ideal individual will identify and monitor new opportunities for improvements through accurate and insightful recommendations, will keep cash flow at an optimum to keep the business running and will produce all profit and loss balance sheets and cash flow analysis.

Other responsibilities will include:-

  • Ensuring that all invoicing and paperwork is up-to-date
  • Ensuring that all staff are paid for salaries and expenses
  • Keeping a clear and logical filing system for company reference documents
  • Ensuring all work is compliant with ISO27001 Data Security and Information Management (ISMS) procedures and that all incidents are reported immediately.
  • Assisting with month end – producing management accounts, managing PAYE, pension and wages balance sheet reconciliations, time sheet reporting
  • Bank account reconciliation on sage and weekly cash-flow reporting
  • Credit Control 
  • Processing sales invoices
  • Payroll – gathering monthly payroll information, including overtime, childcare payments, pensions etc. Processing any tax/NI payments and P11D returns
  • HR – create and maintain all new starter packs and documents, update handbooks, create and document all leavers, awareness of changes in legislation

For this position you must be Part-Qualified and have experience of working within a financial role.
