Robertson Bell Finance are recruiting for a large and well established international charity based in London, that are looking to recruit an Interim Finance Officer, on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Officer will be fully responsible for both purchase and sales ledger functions; VAT reconciliations; posting of journals; completion of payment runs; various bank reconciliations and assisting with the completion of month end. You will be involved in financial reporting and other donor related tasks; allocating project income and provide commentary and support to those with budgetary responsibility for the projects.
The post holder needs to be committed in the work they do, with a flexible approach to make a contributing effort to support the Finance Director. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with a methodical and analytical approach. Previous exposure and knowledge of Exchequer software is desirable but not essential.
The ideal candidate for this post will have previous experience within an international charity, but this is not essential. Experience with international donors would be advantageous, and detailed heavily within your CV.
The role is best suited to a part qualified accountant, however if you are fully qualified and the role is of interest please do not hesitate to apply. You will need to be immediately available or on a very short notice period.
