easyJet is looking to recruit an Assistant Revenue Accountant within our Financial Control team where you will own a defined subset of the monthly revenue figures and act as a custodian of the balance sheet.
In the role, you will liaise with the business and accounting for all Partner Revenue lines encompassing forecasting, month end accounting, reconciliation and variance analysis.
You will take accountability for:
- Timely and accurate month end accounting
- Ownership of process to reconcile supporting data
- Prepare month end journals, review contents of balance sheets
- Actively engage in development of underlying systems
- Developing relationships with internal customers and external partners
We are looking for someone already studying towards their professional qualification, with a genuine interest in the airline industry and who is attracted to working for a FTSE 100 organisation.
You will need to have an inquisitive mind, wanting to look beyond the numbers, what they mean and identify issues. You'll need a pro-active approach to go out and get information needed along with excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance teams. Organisation skills and keenness to solve problems will also be key.
You'll also need to have some relevant experience in a revenue accounting role along with strong academics.
