The Position

We have a great opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to come and join our transactions team within the Accounts department. This role is key in supporting the construction team and Executive Board required to deliver large scale projects.

Working within a busy team of 3, the successful Accounts Assistant will report to the Accounting Service Manager and will be responsible for the following duties;

  • Assisting with the collection of overdue invoices
  • Monthly production of income and expenditure statements for each project, planning, construction or aftercare phase
  • Liaising with external Solicitors and agents and internal investments team to ensure funds are in place to complete on a new purchase
  • Raising invoices for construction projects in line with surveyor valuations and project management fees and maintenance of all necessary supporting information 
  • Liaising with Accountants and the rest of the transaction team to ensure service delivery

The Person


it is essential that the successful Accounts Assistant has the following skills and experience;

  • Experience of preparation of analysis in a similar environment
  • Excellent communication skills (Written and Verbal)
  • The ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Great attention to detail
  • Must have previous experience within an accounts role
  • Has gained or working towards an AAT or ACCA qualification.
