The role of  Manager - VGx Finance Ops Transformation will be a key position within the Finance Operations department, within the Newbury office.

The purpose of the role is to:

  • Lead the delivery of Change and Transformation projects and programmes within VGx Finance Operations
  • Specifically this role will be accountable for delivering a portfolio of change projects.
  • These projects will comprise projects initiated by Finance and projects initiated outside of Finance that have an impact on finance systems, processes and organisation

As Manager - VGx Finance Ops Transformation your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Assess and monitor key project dependencies, linkages and risks to ensure the transformation agenda is delivered to scope, time, cost and the required quality criteria
  • Be a key facilitator for change by communicating changes, assessing local market risks, evaluating potential impacts to programme delivery and recommending resolutions
  • Provide and enable best practices and standardisation to support the people readiness framework and transformation governance across the VGx Group
  • Develop and implement communication and stakeholder strategy, engaging and communicating regularly with direct and non-direct stakeholders on the delivery of the programme to ensure support at all levels of the organisation
  • Ensure key finance and operational risks are identified and that controls are in place and operate effectively to manage those risks

As Manager - VGx Finance Ops Transformation your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • Qualified Accountant 
  • Exceptional Programme Management skills with experience of delivering in a cross functional, international environment
  • Ability to lead, engage and motivate teams during periods of significant change
  • Strong cooperation, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to challenge to achieve the right results
  • Analytical-minded, hardworking, innovative, adaptable, team player and leader.
  • Able to understand strategic requirements & translate them into clear, simple financial processes that deliver the business plan
  • Good command of both written and spoken English
  • Very good knowledge of SAP
