This world leading R&D institute with an ambitious corporate plan has experienced enviable growth and as a result, has created this exciting Senior Financial Analyst position. Reporting to the Director of Finance the key duties and responsibilities will include:
* Reviewing and analysing the current financial reporting systems, providing insightful analysis and making recommendations for improvements.
* Working with the FD and FC on specific projects connected with overseas subsidiaries.
* Reviewing current processes and procedures globally with a view to identifying and rectifying areas of inefficiency.
* Providing tax advice connected with both local and international issues.
* Working with the FC to produce the Group statutory accounts.
* Involvement with ad hoc projects such as setting up new companies and pension scheme options.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with previous experience of financial project work and with excellent analytical and numerical skills. You will have a track record in identifying, preparing and interpreting financial information and possess the ability to challenge, build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and internal stakeholders.
