Commercial Accounts Assistant | Exeter | £18000 - £22000
A large, multi-national organisation based on the outskirts of Exeter are recruiting for a commercial accounts assistant to join their finance team on a permanent, full time basis.
Reporting into the management accountant you will be responsible for invoicing on large maintenance projects, dealing with supplier contracts, charges and re-charges alongside allocations of costs. Working mainly on Excel and in house systems this job is a busy and autonomous position where, although supported by your team and management, you will have the confidence to make recommendation and improvements on processes.
The successful candidate will be a strong user of Excel, have excellent communication skills and the ability to pick up complex jargon quickly. You will have a strong commercial background in order to understand supplier contracts. Ideally you will also be AAT qualified or with substantial other accounting experience, preferably within accounts payable.
