A property company based in the heart of London requires an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team. You will be joining a dynamic environment that grows and develops it's staff.
Role responsibilities include the following -
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Accruals, prepayments and provision journals
- Bank Reconciliations
- Assist with year end and month end procedures
- Producing VAT returns
- Control the cheque banking process
- Set up manual payments
- Assist when required with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Other ad hoc duties including analysis
Candidate requirements -
- Part qualified CIMA/ACCA preferred (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in Journals, Prepayments and Accruals
- Educated to degree level
- Property industry experience preferable
- Large accounting systems experience eg SAP
- 6-12+ months previous experience
