Strategic Finance Manager / Financial Modelling / Corporate - Leveraged Finance / London

My client is a private equity funded business with household name investors. The business is privately owned but is FTSE 250 equivalent vale due to turnover in the hundreds of millions a billion dollars of Telecoms and Media Infrastructure under Management and managed (Across Africa). It is looking for an exceptional candidate to join its Finance Team as a Finance Manager to report directly to and support the Group Strategic Finance Director overseeing the group's capital management, planning and analysis. You should be from a Banking or Corporate Finance background and must be exceptionally strong technically in Financial and Business Modelling and a super user of Excel.

Overall:

• Responsible for:
• Debt and equity management
• Group planning
• Business analysis

Main responsibilities:

• Assist in Debt and equity management
• Ensure that all group companies are suitably funded at all times
• Assist the Group FD in raising and refinancing the group's debt and equity
• Ensure the group is compliant in its debt facility agreements, including covenant monitoring, lender reporting & communications
• Ensure the group satisfactorily hedges its financial risk exposure

You will:

• Assist in Planning
• Manage the group's budgeting and forecasting cycles ensuring high quality output delivered in a timely manner
• Produce high quality PowerPoint reports for the board
• Assist in Analysis
• Ad-hoc analysis on business performance, new business cases, project monitoring, large procurement and cost control

Experience:

• Leveraged finance at a bank or corporate finance house, or in-house FP&A/corporate finance team or heavily infrastructure leasing industry focussed
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent business modelling
• Excellent at PowerPoint
• Excellent communication
• Team player who is willing to go the extra mile
• Someone with broad horizons who likes travel and wants to get involved in business in emerging market

Experience in Bonds and Credit rating is beneficial but not essential as is French language skills.
