Robertson Bell Finance are recruiting a Finance Officer to join an established children charity in London. This will be a varied role suitable for someone who is keen for a new challenge and to join the organisation in a period of growth
This role has been created due to a re-structure within the charity where the main responsibilities for the role are two-thirds finance and one-third HR. The candidate will process invoices, BACS payments, sales-ledger and credit-control. They will also ensure projects met the contract requirements set out by the funders. The person will process payroll monthly, support recruitment processes and be responsible for the HR system. The successful candidate will report directly to the Financial Controller as well as the HR Manager on occasions.
The candidate will be able to work in a complex organisation working with a range of people and personalities both financial and non-financial. The role requires the candidate to pay close attention to detail and use their initiative while having excellent communication and analytical skills. This is an exciting role for someone who is looking to progress their career as well as be a key part in the organisation's growth. The successful candidate will have previous purchase ledger and sales ledger experience however no HR or charity experience is required.
