Finance Assistant

Your new company
A global biotech company with their UK headquarters in Cambridge are recruiting for a Finance Assistant on a 6 month contract. This role is based at the Cambridge Science Park and is supporting their Accountant Director and the European Finance team.

Your new role
As a Finance Assistant, you will be supporting the Accounting and Finance team in all aspects of finance administration, including but not limited to payroll and timesheet data entry and approval, generating purchase order numbers, managing expenses, issuing credit notes and manual payment generation. You will also be required to organise and co-ordinate meetings within the finance department and, as well as running and analysing reports as and when required.

What you'll need to succeed
For this role as a Finance Assistant, you will have previous experience in a busy finance department, as well as good organisational skills and the ability to use your initiative. You will also have excellent IT skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
