Accounts Receivable Clerk

I am recruiting on behalf of my client, A Property management company based in Central Manchester as they require a senior Sales Ledger Clerk to join their team to directly support their Sales Ledger Manager.

This is an opportunity to work for and gain experience within an excellent organisation that are well established within their sector and are experiencing continual success and growth.

Property sector experience as well as experience of supervising a team is highly advantageous.

Working hours are Mon - Fri 0900-1700 (1 hour lunch)

Job Description:

- Raising manual invoices
- Bespoke billing for utilities usage
- Preparing and raising charges for recurring costs on a weekly basis
- Extensive query resolution
- Inputting new property leases, terminations and rent reviews ( previous experience of this is highly advantageous)
- Collection of Direct Debits
- Assist with month end procedures( Balancing of Sales Ledger to General Ledger)
- Cash postings
- Journal entries

Requirements:

- Excellent knowledge of the end to end sales ledger function
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Excellent IT and computerised accounts systems experience ( Excel/ Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and supervise junior members as required
- High degree of attention to detail
- Experience within the property sector is highly advantageous
