Position: Senior Finance Business Partner
Location: Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (35 hours per week)
Salary: Up to £ 55k
Benefits: 25 days per annum plus statutory bank holidays, rising to 28 days per annum plus statutory bank holidays after three years’ continuous service, pension scheme, childcare vouchers, BUPA cash plan and concessionary tickets, subsidised car parking
Reporting to: Head of Finance
About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a newly created role as the organisation move to embrace a Finance Business Partnering model. As Senior Finance Business Partner you will have direct line management responsibility for the Finance Business Partners (team of 4) and Assistant Finance Business Partners (team of 2).
The purpose of this role is to manage and coordinate the team and key relationships across the organisation, you will proactively take on complex projects, business areas and relationships to achieve this.
About the team:
The Finance Business Partners are an established and experienced team that work to deliver financial planning, budgeting, management reporting, financial control, analysis and performance improvement across the whole of our client. This is accomplished by building strong relationships with budget holders and supporting them in meeting their responsibilities to achieve the best possible financial management. The post holder will need to work collaboratively with the team to lead, inspire and motivate them to continue producing the standard of work they are renowned for.
About you:
The successful candidate will be ACA/CIMA qualified, or equivalent, with a good working knowledge of UK GAAP and the Charity SORP. With the ability to analyse complex and diverse information and identify significant trends, you will deliver complex financial information clearly and succinctly, ensuring this is tailored to the audience. It is also vital that you have significant experience of producing high quality management accounts and have experience of all aspects of financial planning and budgeting.
You will have the ability to deliver a supportive service to the organisation, developing rapport with key stakeholders and showing appropriate sensitivity to other points of view, whilst remaining independent and objective and acting within all relevant standards and regulations. They are looking for someone with good commercial awareness who is able to assist and support the financial planning and decision making process as the organisation moves forwards.
The post-holder will demonstrate the confidence and skills to influence behaviour at all levels in an organisation that is complex, vast and interesting.
