Investigo are working with a FTSE100, who are looking at recruiting into their Audit team in Northampton. The team, a highly regarded and successful business unit are looking at hiring a Qualified Accountant who will join them in providing a comprehensive audit of both Finance and Operations.
This position is one in which will provide an excellent transition from External Audit within a practice environment to your first steps in Commerce and Industry. The team have hired numerous high calibre individuals over the past 3 years, whom are now looking at moving in commercial finance within the business.
The successful candidate will need to have the ability to produce accurate audit reports, identifying and communicating risk to management, as well providing an action plan to mitigate the risks. The role will give great exposure to senior management, both in finance and operations; mirroring previous experiences from external audit, therefore it's crucial that you will be able to demonstrate where you have undertaken audits on your own as well as part of a team, and how you have built rapport with clients and stakeholders.
The team have a track record of developing talented individuals through the Audit function, into commercial finance, as it provides a great stepping stone into these business facing roles. With a mentor provided for the role, it is expected that your progression will be within 18-24 months and puts you on a career path to becoming a future leader within the Group.

The successful candidate will have the following-:
- Qualified Accountant. (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience of external audit in commercial organisations
- Be able to work in a fast paced environment and demonstrate the ability to deliver audits on time and within budget
- Be robust and have the ability to work as an individual as well as part of a team
