Commercial Finance Manager

An exciting newly created position has arisen with a successful joint-venture operating in the technology industry based in Berkshire for a Commercial Finance Manager. Reporting into the Senior Commercial Finance Manager and business partnering numerous teams across the business this role offers broad exposure and experience working with both finance and non-finance senior leaders, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on the future success of the organisation.

This role will play a key role in assisting range and proposition trade decisions and in the design and continual development of a new business initiative model.

Key responsibilities;

- Ensure consistency and integration of business models into all profitability analysis across the business.

- Identify potential risks and opportunities to customer profitability.

- Maintain promotional tracker, performing detailed post promotion and proposition profitability analysis.

- Analyse individual product profitability over a full product life cycle to influence future ranging decisions.

Candidates must be educated to degree level and fully qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA). With broad scope to the role, the successful candidate must be flexible in their approach, possess in-depth knowledge and experience within the key finance areas ideally within a commercial setting. Excellent communications skills and the ability to manage relationships with senior people both internally and externally is essential. Candidates must demonstrate strong business and commercial acumen with the ability to influence and challenge ideas and initiatives. Excellent analytical skills are a must, along with the ability to identify and solve problems efficiently and effectively with exceptional attention to detail.
