Macildowie Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant / Factory Accountant to join a large manufacturing business based in Leicester. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this exciting role is based at one of the firms manufacturing sites and is commutable distance from all areas of Leicestershire, Nottingham, Coventry and Derby
This role will see the Management Accountant / Factory Accountant will be the link between the company's production / manufacturing operation and the finance function. You will support / guide / advise none-finance managers in how to get the best financial returned from the manufacturing facility maximising profit and revenue. You will support the budgeting and forecasting for the manufacturing site, drive operational improvement and deliver margin improvement. This role has a small amount of input at month end. You will provide a financial analysis service to the manufacturing team, giving useful well informed information which will help the business drive its strategic goals.
This is a high profile role within the business working with production / operations, sales / marketing / the leadership team / commercial finance and accounting function. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and are not scared of spending time in the manufacturing facility.
The client is keen to hear from candidates that are at a minimum of part qualified or QBE and those that have experience of working for a manufacturing business. Your back ground will be from a Management Accountant type role and be able to demonstrate your financial analysis / commercial analysis skills.
The client offers a salary range of between £30,000 and £37,500 plus a generous benefits package.
